CHURCH ENVELOPE REQUEST

Stewardship Means Sharing Our Time, Talent, & Treasure

The use of Church envelopes is the responsible way to support our parish faith community. Therefore, we strongly encourage our parishioners to use the WEEKLY OFFERTORY ENVELOPES for the success of the operation of the Parish and for their sacrificial gift to the Parish. We also depend on the financial support of its people in all its endeavors. The weekly envelopes help keep in mind our duty to regularly contribute to the Church's mission and to share a percentage of our God-given talents and blessings through charitable organizations such as the Church. We are called to be good stewards of all God entrusts to us, especially our time, talent and treasure. By making a regular, weekly commitment to the Parish, one that is consistent with all other weekly expenses for necessities, luxuries and the like, Catholics give witness to their faith and to the place God and His Church hold among all their other endeavors, plans and dreams.

If you are not receiving envelopes and would like to, please contact the Parish Administrative Assistant at the Parish Center (410-744-6560, ext. 221), and she will see to it that you receive them. However, to receive these envelopes, you must be a registered parishioner of St. Mark parish. (Refer to the registration link on this website for information on how to register with the Parish if you have not already done so.) The offertory envelopes will then be sent to you after all information has been processed.

When you place your offertory collection into the collection basket, please be sure to use the offertory envelopes sent to your home via postal mail, since we cannot assure proper credit for your weekly contributions if you are putting a loose check into the collection.

If you are absent for any reason on a particular weekend Mass, please mail your contribution to St. Mark Church (30 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, Maryland 21228) or stop by the Parish Center between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday), and give your envelope(s) to the Parish Administrative Assistant, Rae Ellen Clegg.

Please prayerfully remember that your support is essential to help keep our faith community alive.

Remember: Give God what is right, not what is left.
