Our Daily Bread
St. Mark Church provides food donations to Our Daily Bread, an organization who helps feed the poor in downtown Baltimore through an Archdiocesan-run soup kitchen/dining room facility created by Catholic Charities in 1981. ODB, currently located at the corner of Cathedral and Franklin Streets in downtown Baltimore, serves an average of 750 persons seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Casserole pans with recipes are available in the vestibules of the Church and Chapel on the 1st Saturday and Sunday of each month; announcements will be made in the bulletin. They are to be returned wrapped and frozen on the 2nd Thursday (7:30–11:30 a.m. or 6:30–8:00 p.m.) or Friday (prior to 8:30 a.m.) of each month. Volunteers collect and deliver the casseroles and also serve meals at the soup kitchen.

PLEASE NOTE:
Volunteers of the St. Mark Community will be preparing and delivering casseroles to ODB on Friday, August 12th.
Additional dates can be found via our calendar.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
In addition to casseroles, there is a special need for tea bags, sugar, ziplock sandwich and brown paper lunch bags. Please mark your donations for OUR DAILY BREAD and place them on the table next to the freezer outside the maintenance office (on the landing before the stairs to the kitchen). Thank you in advance for your donations.
